We are the civic association at The Peninsula - an open, unelected group of homeowners dedicated to providing information that will help residents understand how The Peninsula runs and where to go to get things done. We are an active, independent organization. If you like our mission of providing organized, transparent, and timely information please show us your support adding your name to our list!  We are currently focused on following these community topics:

One Peninsula is celebrating almost 5 years as an independent Civic Association for The Peninsula!

The 2025 One Peninsula Key Priorities are: 
 

  • The transition plan for when Ocean Atlantic transfers ownership of the property to homeowners.
     

  • Property and club maintenance and management. How the costs impact our membership dues and homeowner fees. 
     

  • Community input for Sports Invitational Membership which opens the community up to outside members. 
     

  • Provide transparency and assistance to homeowners about community and club related issues.

The Peninsula on Indian River Bay in Delaware is owned and operated by OA-BP Marina Bay-Lakeside LLC. Ocean Atlantic Companies is the Developer of The Peninsula and parent company of Schell Brothers, the main builder at The Peninsula. We are governed by The Peninsula Community Association (PCA) which has 5 Board Members, 3 from Ocean Atlantic Companies and 2 elected Homeowner Representatives.

 

Additionally: 

  • There are PCA Committees that report to the PCA Board. 

  • The Club has an Advisory Committee.

  • Each neighborhood has a Neighborhood Association and Board of Directors. 

  • One Peninsula is the independent Civic Association for the entire community.
